Print-on-Demand Orders & Art-in-Building Projects

FLUGPOST.art operates as a curated art platform.
Shipping conditions therefore differ depending on whether an artwork is ordered as a print-on-demand product or commissioned as part of an Art-in-Building project.

Please read the relevant section carefully.

1. Print-on-Demand Orders

(Partner Production & Direct Shipping)

Most artworks offered in the FLUGPOST.art online shop are produced individually by certified production partners after an order is placed.

Production & Packaging

  • Artworks are produced using professional printing and finishing standards.

  • Each piece is packed in specialized art-grade packaging to ensure safe transport.

Shipping

  • Orders are shipped directly from the production partner to the customer.

  • FLUGPOST.art does not maintain its own warehouse or gallery stock.

Delivery Times

  • Germany & Austria: usually 7–14 business days

  • Europe & International: delivery times and costs are displayed during checkout.

  • No shipping on Sundays or public holidays.

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout.

  • Mixed orders follow the longest delivery time of the included products.

Responsibility

Minor color variations, material differences, or format tolerances are production-related and do not constitute defects.

2. Art-in-Building & Project Works

(Individual Commission Projects)

The following conditions apply exclusively to Art-in-Building projects and individually commissioned large-format artworks, arranged separately from the online shop.

Project-Based Shipping

Shipping conditions are defined individually within the project quotation depending on size, destination, and logistics requirements.

Secure Transport

  • Transport is handled by specialized art couriers or fine art logistics providers.

  • Packaging is adapted to the specific project requirements.

International Delivery

  • Europe: direct art courier services

  • Worldwide: certified fine art logistics partners

Costs and delivery times are specified in the project agreement.

No Pickup Service

FLUGPOST.art does not operate a public gallery or pickup location.
All project works are coordinated directly with artists and logistics partners.

Professional Installation

Many Art-in-Building artworks require professional installation.

Upon request, FLUGPOST.art can arrange installation teams in:

  • Germany

  • Switzerland

  • USA

Installation services are offered separately and are not part of standard shipping.

Delivery Times

  • Germany & Austria: approx. 7–14 business days after production approval

  • International: defined individually per project

  • No shipping on Sundays or public holidays

Non-EU Countries

  • Customs duties and import taxes must be paid by the client.

  • German VAT cannot be refunded.

  • Return shipping costs are borne by the client unless otherwise agreed.

  • In justified complaint cases, FLUGPOST.art covers additional return shipping costs exceeding standard German return shipping costs.

Scope of Application

Print-on-demand orders placed through the online shop are subject to Section 1.
Art-in-Building and project works are subject to Section 2.
