The forest around me is filled with the cheerful chirping of birds and the buzzing of insects - otherwise there is a deep silence. A fine breeze brushes the grasses and makes them dance in the sun. I bend down and get very close with my camera to permanently capture the magnificent play of light and shadow, closeness and sharpness.
The beauty is in the focus of the viewer
Looking at the vast forest and the dancing grasses in the sunshine, I feel transported into a world of fairies and elves. Already the fairy tales of my childhood come to mind and a deep inner peace fills me. Like a spell, the moment captures me and makes me forget everything around me. I close my eyes and feel the sun on my skin and the light wind blowing through my hair. This is where I feel comfortable - this is where I want to be!
