Obsorbing silence

The gigantic chunks of ice in the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon rise into the sky like giant mythical creatures from times long past. It's cold in Iceland's Vatnajökull National Park as the boat glides imperceptibly over the crystal-clear water.
