Bathed in heavenly light

This work reveals an extraordinary view of the Indian goddess Durga and the monkey god Hanuman in the Vaishno Devi temple in northern India. The visitor will normally only see the front view of the gigantic group of figures. However, this photograph succeeded in capturing far more than a simple image of one of the statues of some deity found at every turn in India. The backlighting creates an incredible sense of depth with the night sky and captivates the viewer at first glance.

Supernatural power

This work, created back in 2014, captivates with its perfect mastery of light. The colors of the gods' statues, which sometimes seem almost kitschy during the day, have given way to celestial superiority. One can literally feel the power emanating from the two statues of the gods.

Durga, the well connected goddess

In Hindu belief, the goddess Durga is the goddess of perfection and in today's words one would say she is well connected. With the help of the gifts of all the gods, she managed to end the tyranny of the buffalo demon, Mahisasur.

Get the supernatural rays!!!

This work fascinates at first sight. The Indian gods literally turn towards the light and you with them. Armed for the decisive battle, aware of the backing of all and knowing that good will prevail. Framed by a truly supernatural radiance, the viewer also feels this infinite and invincible power of good.
An energetic and yet so tender moment, immortalized for your wall.

Art in a room

Example room presence for the Atelier Archive series

Über André Wagner

André Wagner is a German photographer whose work circles perception, atmosphere and the quiet in-between spaces of reality. His landscapes, city images and travel works are shaped by patience, observation and a precise sensitivity to light.

In the Atelier Archive, these motifs appear as specific already produced works: signed, materially present and available directly from the artist’s context.

FLUGPOST.art makes this access transparent: editions can be selected by format and finish; archive works are concrete archive pieces.

FAQ - questions before collecting

What is FLUGPOST.art?

FLUGPOST.art is an artist-run online gallery based in Berlin. It presents contemporary editions, Atelier Archive works and curated Poster Editions directly from the artistic context, with personal guidance around presentation, production and worldwide shipping.

What does artist-run gallery mean?

FLUGPOST.art is run from within artistic practice. Selection, presentation, material decisions and advisory are shaped by proximity to the work, the studio and the collector, not by anonymous shop logic.

Where are the works produced?

Editions are produced with professional fine-art partners and checked before shipping. Atelier Archive works are concrete already produced pieces from the studio. Poster Editions are produced and shipped carefully after selection.

Which work types are available at FLUGPOST.art?

FLUGPOST.art distinguishes between limited fine-art editions, already produced Atelier Archive works and accessible Poster Editions. Each product page should make clear which work type you are selecting.

Which materials and finishes are available?

Depending on the work, formats, glass options, acrylic glass on Alu-Dibond, matte finishes or unframed variants may be available. The specific materiality is explained on the individual work page.

Are the works framed?

That depends on the work type. Atelier Archive works may already have a specific framing or finish. Limited editions offer different glass and framing options depending on the work. If you are unsure, the gallery can advise personally before purchase.

How are returns handled?

Editions, Atelier Archive works and Poster Editions are documented, packed and shipped with care. Please check format, material and finish before purchase; if unsure, room presence, hanging, art shipping, tracking, customs/import questions and returns can be clarified in advance. If a work arrives damaged, document packaging and work with photos within 48 hours so replacement, repair or reversal can be organized clearly.

Can I request a larger or individual format?

Yes. For larger rooms, special hanging situations or individual projects, write directly to info@flugpost.art.

How can I reach the gallery?

You can reach the gallery directly at info@flugpost.art. Please include the work title, a room photo, wall size or optional budget if helpful.

Are the works limited?

André Wagner fine-art editions are limited and described by edition size, format and finish. Atelier Archive works are specific produced pieces. Poster Editions are more accessible entries into a series.

How should I care for my work?

Avoid direct sun, high humidity and touching the image surface. For larger or sensitive works, we recommend calm hanging conditions and appropriate conservation-minded materials.

Can I assess the work in a room before purchase?

Yes. Many works are shown with room views. You can also send wall dimensions or a room photo so format, finish and hanging can be assessed more precisely.
